Just 3 months after the release of her debut single “Hey Little Girl,” Carli Brill had captured the attention of the music scene, scoring a place on a Spotify editorial playlist, a showcase with “Breaking Sound” at The Analog, inclusions in “No Country For New Nashville” and a Springtime show with the Nashville staple- “Musician’s Corner.”

“If there’s any justice to be found in this crazy world, the depth and dynamism of Brill’s artistry will be discovered by the music-loving masses soon enough.” - Albumism

Brill crafts charming, intricate retro-pop that blends the warmth of 60s-era radio hits with a sleek and modern sophistication, honey-smooth vocals and a knack for complex rhythmic shifts. Brill offers a unique and sophisticated sound unlike any other Nashville act. Under The Radar describes her music as “...a starry pop fantasia that is all her own.” AudioFemme refers to her single, “Concrete Jungle” as “…a melody that transcends musical genre.”

Brill grew up dabbling in guitar, piano, voice, and flute, and was inspired by 50s and 60s acts whose work spanned a wide spectrum of styles (The Everly Brothers, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, The Beach Boys, The Mamas and The Papas). “I love songs that are unexpected, full of contrasting yet complementary elements,” she says. “I like to be surprised.” Following the win of a nationwide contest judged by artist Jessie J, Brill recorded tracks at LA’s Capitol Records, proceeded by her move to Nashville to pursue her music career full-time.

With vocals that command attention and an ability to uniquely communicate with the audience, her live shows are captivating. Brill offers a raw, honest perspective that is not only compelling but makes you feel as though she speaks directly to you.

“Instantly arresting, cutting straight to the matter.” - York Calling

Brill has evolved as an artist and songwriter, experimenting with shifting rhythms and vintage tones in strikingly original arrangements. Vocally, she has a silky, effortless purity. Instrumentally, her tracks are flourished with subtle retro organ accents and jingle bells for a throwback charm. Recorded in Nashville and produced by Brendan St. Gelais, Brill’s new work showcases her natural ability to fuse internal and external, past and present into uniquely compelling music.

“Every so often, a new song or album instantly restores our faith in the pure joy of musical discovery and reminds us why we love using our platform to spread this joy far and wide. The latest case in point? Carli Brill’s ‘Kaleidoscope.’”- Albumism

Brill is set to release an official music video for her single, “Kaleidoscope” and has begun the writing process for her first full length album. “I find that the song tells you where it wants to go,” she says. “I just trust what feels right.”
